Shimla
Shimla, which once served as the summer capital of the British, is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the historic cities considering that it has hosted a number of famous meetings. Formation of Bangladesh was finalized at a meeting here between the prime ministers of India and Pakistan.
Situated at an altitude of around 7500 feet, Shimla is one of the most popular hill stations in India.
